Feb 17, 2020

David McInally, Coe College president, plans to retire in June 2021, the Cedar Rapids institution announced. McInally became Coe’s president in 2013. During his tenure he has worked to increase enrollment and student success rates. He also initiated the largest building project in Coe’s history while also reducing endowment spending. The Coe board of trustees will hire a search consultant in the next few months to assist in finding McInally’s successor. The board will also appoint a search committee that will include faculty, staff and students.
